About Shotz Casino
Shotz is a fun platform that combines a casino, live casino, and sportsbook all in one place. It was launched in 2024 under the Curacao license, but luckily, it doesn’t really follow the standard scheme of typical offshore Curacao casinos. Instead, it seems to be connected to a bigger network known for very peculiar bonuses. Shotz casino, despite being new, feels slightly old-fashioned due to its layout and especially due to a more humble range of bonuses that are not thrown in your face the moment you open the website. If you’d like to know what this site has to offer, check out our new Shotz casino review!
Unusual bonuses;- Minimum-deposit casino;
- Accepts cryptocurrency payments;
- Casino, live casino, and sportsbook;
- Responsible gambling tools;
Only English version;- No mobile app.
For an online casino with a Curacao license, Shotz casino Canada takes bonuses seriously, and its approach might seem surprisingly measured until you learn that the operator behind the brand has the same reasonable approach to promotions with all its online casino brands.
As a result, there are not so many bonuses, but all Shotz casino bonus offers are 1) comprehensive, 2) attractive, 3) not overwhelming, and 4) realistically manageable.
At the time of writing this review, the list goes as follows:
- Wager-free Shotz casino welcome bonus in the form of free spins;
- Live casino welcome bonus;
- Reload free spins;
- Shotzbooster level-up feature;
- Shotz VIP program with extra bonuses like personalized free spins.
In this review, we do not provide the full description of each bonus offer, but if you would like to learn more, please feel free to check out a separate page with Shotz casino bonus overview dedicated specifically to promotions and bonus terms this casino has.
Shotz combines casino gaming with a sportsbook, but the casino section is clearly the bigger and more developed part of the platform. The site offers around 2,300 Shotz casino games in total, which is not jaw-dropping, but given the good studios behind this amount, it is enough for a satisfying experience.
The main categories include online slots, jackpot games, and table games, while live casino games are placed in a separate section. This structure is simple and easy enough to understand, although not especially innovative (more versatile categorization comes in the slots section, though).
Around 100 game providers are represented in the lobby - Push Gaming, Red Tiger Gaming, Hacksaw Gaming, Nolimit City, Big Time Gaming, etc., and it matters because provider diversity usually means less repetition and a wider range of gaming mechanics, in-game features, math models, and so on.
Slots
Shotz casino slots games are divided into quite a bunch of categories - popular slots, Super Shotz, best newcomers, new games, Le Takeover, Shotz Date2Win games, Shotz reload, going viral, new providers, innovative games, at show, crash games, arcade, rollercoasters, legends from Games Global, bonus buy, books, bonus reels, jackpot splash, exclusive games, Dream Drop, Drops&Wins, joker, sticky wilds, free spins feature, colossal symbols, respins, falling symbols, random wilds, classic slots, sport slots, and Asia. What a choice!
We expect that the titles in these categories (like new, popular, hot, etc.) change from time to time. Given the total quantity of the games, we aren’t sure if it makes so much sense to separate them into so many different categories. It might look exciting and abundant at first, but when there are just a couple of games in each category, this illusion of abundance quickly fades.
In any case, the list of software providers is really strong, and it shows in the quality of slot games available. However, please be warned that demo mode is allowed only for already registered users.
Shotz Casino Jackpot Games
Shotz casino jackpot content is separated into the next categories: Dream Drop, Lotsaloot Jackpots, and Jackpot Splash, which at least gives players a starting point when browsing.
However, outside these branded sections, the jackpot lobby feels fairly random, and you can’t even filter the games by provider (which is really a weak point).
One positive detail, though, is the presence of progressive jackpots using the famous Mega Moolah mechanics. These games are well known in the industry for bringing some record-breaking jackpot payouts over the years. In the table, you can see just several of these progressive jackpots to give you an idea of what to start from.
| # | Jackpot | Slot | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | $10,138,208 | Mega Moolah | Games Global |
| 2 | $10,138,208 | Absolootly Mad Mega Moolah | Games Global |
| 3 | $10,138,208 | Juicy Joker Mega Moolah | Games Global |
| 4 | $10,138,208 | Immortal Romance Mega Moolah | Games Global |
| 5 | $10,138,208 | Atlantean Treasures Mega Moolah | Games Global |
Shotz Casino Live Dealer
One unusual advantage of Shotz casino live dealer games, in case you failed to notice before, is that they are available for the live casino welcome bonus (listed above in the bonus section).
The main sections include game shows, live roulette, blackjack, live baccarat, and an “all games” lobby. There are also smaller subcategories such as popular, trending now, new live games, and Pragmatic Play Live. All this makes navigation a bit easier, but generally, you can just browse or use the search bar. Filter by providers (like Evolution Gaming) also doesn’t work so well for the live dealer games section.
At Shotz, live games are available for one of the bonuses, but demo mode is not an option, so please keep it in mind.
If you are a beginner-level gambler and would like to learn popular card games like American blackjack, baccarat, or poker, maybe don’t start with live dealer games right away. There is a table games section in the Shotz online casino portfolio with all the same traditional games, but automated. You can take a slower pace and learn in a more beginner-friendly mode.
Shotz casino accepts payments in CAD and cryptocurrencies, but you cannot have both options, so please choose what currency and what payment methods you would like to use. Whenever you want to change, you will have to contact the customer support team for assistance.
In this review, we provide the key rules about payments stated in the Shotz casino terms and conditions. However, it is still the player’s responsibility to know all the payment rules and limits, so we recommend reading the casino’s terms and conditions first before signing up and depositing.
Deposit
Shotz online casino Canada supports several payment methods commonly used by Canadian players, including Visa, Interac, Jeton, MiFinity, and cryptocurrencies.
Compared to many other offshore casino sites targeting Canada specifically, this list is very short, but at least you see what you get.
Shotz is a low-deposit casino, since the minimum deposit varies from $15 to $20 depending on the payment method. The maximum deposit per transaction is $3,000 - $4,000, also depending on the payment method of choice.
Another important rule to remember about Shotz casino deposits is that each deposit must be wagered at least twice in real money games before a withdrawal becomes possible. If you claim any bonus Shotz casino offers on your deposit, then the bonus wagering requirements must be met before you request a withdrawal.
This type of anti-money-laundering rule exists at many casinos, especially crypto-friendly ones, and is designed to prevent players from using the platform simply to move money between payment systems. In practice, this means you cannot deposit funds and immediately cash them out without placing bets first.
So, the rule might seem annoying, but it is standard and justified.
Withdrawal
Withdrawals from Shotz casino online are possible via Interac, Jeton, Mifinity, bank transfer, and if you prefer cryptocurrencies, then through the crypto coins.
The minimum payout starts at $20, and the maximum per payout is $3,000 - $4,000, depending on the withdrawal methods.
The monthly maximum withdrawal limit for Canadians is $27,000, and if the player manages to win more (let’s say, in a progressive jackpot), the casino will pay out the winnings in monthly installments.
Most of the time, payouts are sent to the same payment option used previously for depositing, but whenever this is impossible, the casino will inform the player and offer other available methods for cashout.
As for the withdrawal time, some payment methods might take up to five business days to process the transaction. However, the casino can also take some time in order to check and verify the withdrawal request, especially from a new player, or when the withdrawal is bigger than average.
Shotz casino mobile does not currently offer a dedicated mobile app for iOS or Android devices.
Instead, the casino relies on a browser-based mobile version that adapts to smartphones and tablets automatically. The advantage is that players do not need to download additional software or worry about updates. The disadvantage is that many Canadian online casino gamblers are used to playing in apps already.
Anyways, it is as it is; Shotz is still a comparatively new casino, and being fully mobile-compatible, it runs well with all systems and browsers, and this is the most important part, even without a Shotz casino app.
The Shotz gambling platform is available only in English, which may be limiting for Canadian players who prefer French.
Customer support is provided through the 24/7 live chat and email. Interestingly, the help section itself is integrated into the live chat feature rather than existing as a separate Shotz casino FAQ page.
Customer support is usually reported as responding quickly.
