There are not so many bonuses at Captain Cooks casino so if you are used to numerous promotions, tournaments, slot competitions, and similar entertainment offers, well, you won’t get them here.
There are a couple of bonuses and please keep in mind that for the first two bonus offers, the wagering requirements are x200. However, for all subsequent bonuses at the casino, the wagering requirements are x30.
If you do not use the bonus you claimed, for 60 days, it will expire together with all the winnings associated with the bonus Captain Cooks. So make sure you always meet the wagering requirements on time.
Welcome Package
Captain Cook Casino does not offer its welcome package separately; instead, it just lists the bonuses that the newly registered player can get. However, there are some rules still.
Firstly, each of the bonuses for the first several deposits (listed below) can be claimed only after depositing $10. The wagering requirements are x200.
The bonuses go as follows:
- 100% match up to $100;
- 50% match up to $150;
- 25% match up to $125;
- 100% match up to $100;
No Captain Cooks casino bonus code is needed to claim the offer.
You can use these bonuses in different games but please double-check what games contribute 100% towards meeting wagering requirements because this mechanism is not the same for different games.
There are 850 Captain Cooks casino games in the lobby and while this number is enough to play, have fun, and win some real money, it is still rather small compared to many other websites.
Captain Cooks is a Microgaming-powered casino which means that the games in the lobby are only provided by this studio and its supplying partners. Today, Microgaming and its group of partners are part of Games Global, a huge umbrella brand company. However, they still make new games and Captain Cooks casino online keeps adding these new games to its collection on a regular basis.
When you are a registered user, you can play most games in the practice mode for free, without making real money bets. Take this advantage and check the games out to see what games you like most, and whether you really understand the mechanics and the rules.
Captain Cooks Slots
Since this is a Microgaming casino site, slots are the majority of all games in the lobby. You can choose to just browse through them by the name and theme, or you can use the filtering system offered in the section.
There are slot games with one to 20 paylines, slot games with more than 25 paylines, and online slots with three or five reels. The point is to choose by one of the features.
The casino has both older slot games released by Microgaming years ago, and newer titles that have been released by the studio group recently. You will be able to find a whole series of games where the very first game became so popular that the studio decided to update and upgrade them, ending up with a real series of Captain Cooks casino slots.
Captain Cooks Casino Jackpot Games
Microgaming was a pioneer in the niche of progressive jackpots and there are several mechanics that were invented by Microgaming and became widespread with its supplying studios. So, generally, being able to play a Captain Cooks casino jackpot is a nice opportunity.
On the other hand, the choice of progressive jackpots at Captain Cooks is limited for reasons unknown. There are only several games and we listed them all in the table to give you a better idea of what you can expect.
Please remember that the prize pool can be the same for different games and this is normal because they share the same mechanics. Also, please keep in mind that the maximum win can change because the prize pools continue to grow as we at CasinosHunter write this Captain Cooks online casino review.
| # | Jackpot | Slot | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | $975 | Treasure Quest | Microgaming |
| 2 | $975 | 20 Years Celebration | Microgaming |
| 3 | $2,039,726 | Gold Factory Jackpots Maple Moolah | Microgaming |
| 4 | $2,039,726 | Immortal Romance Maple Moolah | Microgaming |
| 5 | $2,039,726 | Thunderstruck II Maple Moolah | Microgaming |
Since the choice of progressives at Captain Cooks is so small, there is nothing to choose really because you can just play every game and try them all out.
However, if you would like to make a more informed choice instead of just trying out blindly, pay attention to the games’ characteristics. You can choose by the size of the prize pool already accumulated, by the highest RTP rate, or by the set of in-game features. This will allow you to better understand the game and maybe, just maybe, slightly increase your chances to win.
Captain Cooks Casino Live Dealer
There is a separate Captain Cooks casino live section. You can find live games there or you can also open the table games section but here, the live games are mixed together with the automatic games.
Games Global holds a couple of studios focused on live dealer games so you will find a nice choice of blackjack, roulette, baccarat, sic bo titles, game shows, wheels of luck, and so on.
Please remember that you cannot play live games for free in demo mode. Also, at the time of writing this Captain Cooks review, there are no bonuses that are allowed for wagering in live games.
Other Games
Players who like video poker games, online bingo, automated table games, and various specialties, can check out the corresponding sections. You can take advantage of these high-quality games from some of the best studios and they are very affordable and fun to play.
Some players really like scratch cards or bingo online and Captain Cooks really takes care of their needs.
Most of these games can be played for free in the practice mode if you are a registered user. However, these games do not contribute towards meeting wagering requirements for bonuses so it is better not to play them when you have an active Captain Cooks casino bonus associated with your account.
Banking is a little confusing at Captain Cooks but this is mainly because the casino doesn’t have all the rules listed and explained in free access. This is because the casino provides all the payment rules and limits, as well as available payment methods, directly to players’ accounts for convenience.
Of course, it doesn’t make anyone’s task easier, especially when a potential customer tries to decide whether they want to use Captain Cooks for real money gambling.
On the other hand, there are several general rules that work for the majority of players and the majority of situations. So please check out the deposit and withdrawal conditions below to get at least a slightly better idea of what to expect from Captain Cooks casino Canada.
Captain Cooks Deposit Options
Canadian players can deposit using Visa, Mastercard, Interac, Paysafecard, and bank transfer.
However, only a couple of these payment methods are allowed for cashing the winnings out. If you are not aware that this can be a problem then you should keep in mind that Captain Cooks, just like the majority of other casino sites, prefer to send payouts to the same payment method that was used previously for depositing. Failing to do so results in slow, suspended payouts.
This is why it is important to choose a payment method that works for both deposits and withdrawals (like Interac or Paysafecard) or connect more than one payment method to your account.
The minimum deposit is only $5 for the sign-up bonus. However, in general, the minimum deposit bonus is $10. The maximum depends on your payment method of choice and the limits it applies.
Captain Cooks Withdrawal Options
The minimum withdrawal you can request is $30 for all payment methods but the bank transfer. If you want to get your casino withdrawal via bank transfer, the minimum limit is $300.
Also, if you use a bank transfer and the sum is smaller than $3,000, the fee is $50. If the sum is more than $3,000, the fee is $100.
It will take the casino team 48 hours to check your withdrawal request and confirm it. As soon as it is confirmed, the transaction will start being processed by your chosen online casino payment operator.
As a rule, the withdrawal waiting time goes as follows:
- Three business days for Visa and Mastercard;
- From one to three days for e-wallets;
- From six to 10 days for direct transfer;
- From two to three business days for eCheck (option is only available in Canada).
Please make sure you do not violate any rules when playing games at Captain Cooks, regardless of whether you have claimed a bonus or not. Rule violations and mistakes when playing can result in extra checks or withdrawal request suspensions.
At the time of writing this review, there is a Captain Cooks casino app for Android devices. Unfortunately, the iOS app is still somewhere on its way.
It is great to have an app (sorry, Apple fans!) because apps are lighter, faster, easier to use on smaller screens, and generally offer a more user-friendly experience.
However, you can always just open Captain Cooks mobile casino in your browser on any mobile device and use the casino site as always because this site is fully mobile-compatible.
Yet, CasinosHunter does not judge you if you are still waiting for the iOS app.
Canadian players can choose between English and French website versions which is always an advantage. Customer services are equally available in both languages as well.
Unfortunately, there is no phone number at Captain Cooks for even faster customer assistance but you can always use live chat. If your question or request are not urgent, you can simply drop them an email.
In case you have some general questions about how the casino functions, you should first read the FAQ section which is rather detailed and comprehensive. Also, we recommend you check out the terms and conditions document where all the rules are listed.
