Q&A Session with Aleksandar Dašić

Question: Hello, and thank you for participating in our Q&A! Can you please tell our readers a bit about your background in the iGaming industry and how your journey with Bragg Gaming began?

Answer: Thank you for having me - it's a pleasure to be part of this Q&A!

My journey in the iGaming industry began back in early 2016, when I joined a well-established affiliate website. What started as an entry-level role quickly evolved as I took on more responsibility and built a deep understanding of the affiliate and content side of the business. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work across different segments of the industry, which gave me a hands-on perspective on how all the moving parts connect.

In 2023, I joined Bragg Gaming as a Product Marketing Manager, and in April 2025, I transitioned into the role of Head of Affiliate Marketing. In this position, I lead our global affiliate strategy - from building relationships with partners and streamers to developing campaigns that highlight the strengths of our studio brands. It’s a role that allows me to bring together creativity, data, and collaboration, and I’m proud to contribute to Bragg’s growth in such a fast-paced and innovative space.

Question: In your view, what sets Bragg Gaming apart from other software providers out there?

Answer:  Tailoring, without doubt, of our content and technology solutions to the unique requirements and needs of not only our operator partners but players in the individual markets in which we operate. This manifests itself through things like ensuring compliance, collection of player data, usage of that data to develop truly inspiring content, and the technical excellence to deliver solutions that are not only what the industry wants, but also provide true innovation in the iGaming industry.

Question: If you had to describe Bragg through the eyes of a casino player, what would stand out the most? And what do operators usually appreciate most about your content?

Answer: From a player's perspective, what would probably stand out the most is the playing experience we offer. That includes things like being able to access sophisticated bonuses, being able to win flash jackpots, enter tournaments, go on quests, and at all points, do so from a position of safety and fun in their gambling experience. From an operator standpoint, what they tend to appreciate is our attention to detail when it comes to content, in that we pay attention and respond to player preferences in our markets through localization and the sophistication of the content delivered. We’re also able to offer our operator partners more than 10,000 titles, which is a fantastic portfolio to choose from.

Question: Every studio has its “wow” moment. What would you say is Bragg’s biggest breakthrough or proudest achievement so far?

Answer: This can be many things. For Bragg, it's the variety of its content and the excellence of our single releases. Bragg is the distributor of many games, many brands, and many partners. It is this ability to provide such a variety of content that appeals to both players and operators, which makes Bragg stand out.

However, if we were to point to a single event in recent history that really made us and the players go “wow!”, it would be the release of our Dragon Power series in the USA. “Explosive” is perhaps the best word we can use to describe it. This massively popular IP, developed and owned by Wild Streak Gaming, has been in the top 20 game charts for years! In 2024, we released two brand extensions for it, the Super Orbs and the Double Triple Gold versions. The most amazing part, however, is that in 2026, players in Europe and the rest of the world may look forward to giving the highly popular Dragon Power series a spin as well.

Question: What kinds of games do you focus on, and how often, on average, across your multiple studios, are new games released?

Answer: Bragg is a regionally structured organization, so many times, individual brands and/or studios will be looking at a specific region or territory. For example, the recent announcement of the RapidPlay studio was heavily aimed at Brazil and Latin America. Gamomat is more focused on Germany, while the in-house studios have a bigger focus on the UK and USA. But it's really the variety of games that makes Bragg stand out.

We are looking after 15 studios, of which about 10 release games regularly. Generally speaking, each studio may want to release 6 to 12 games a year. Balancing that supply of games and the demand is quite a challenge, but also very rewarding when it works out. With so many games, we had to adopt a regional approach, as not all games will perform in all markets. Picking the right games for the right market is one of our main points of focus.

Question: Can you tell if an online casino game is going to be a hit or not? What are the criteria for a successful game?

Answer: We get this question a lot, and if we knew the answer to this, we would all be billionaires. We like to think that what makes a game successful is a combination of things. Strong math, appealing art, good marketing, and about 20% luck. As uninspiring as that is, those 20% carry a lot of weight. We have seen mechanically weak games scale and perform, and we have seen strong games fail. It’s all about the right place and the right time.

With our network and experience, we are able to put games in a position to excel, but only the players can turn good games into evergreens.

The criteria for a good game for us are player numbers, wagering, rounds, recurring visits, and GGR. As I said, there are many things that can make a game successful. We divide our portfolio into five categories, tier one to tier five. Only 2-5% of all games are tier one games, and about 10% of games are tier two.

Finding an exceptional game is like finding a diamond. You have to do a lot of digging and preparation in order to have a chance to find something good.

On your way there, however, you may establish a following, trust, and recognition that will help you with innovation and development.

Question: Could you please tell us more about the Connect&Collect™ mechanic? Your website says that this is a puzzle-like mechanic that allows players to actively link special symbols. How does the Connect & Collect™ mechanic enhance player engagement compared to traditional slot features?

Bragg Gaming Connect&Collect™
Bragg Gaming Connect&Collect™

Answer: True, Connect & Collect™ is indeed a dynamic, puzzle-like feature that enhances player engagement by encouraging active participation in the gameplay. It’s not just about landing the symbols; it’s how they link up, and it works in a very intuitive way that is easy to grasp and extremely satisfying to watch. Rather than passively waiting for bonus triggers, players visually track and build symbol paths across the reels to unlock rewards, creating a sense of progression and anticipation. This visual feedback loop makes the experience more interactive and emotionally satisfying, helping players feel more connected to the outcome. The mechanic transforms chasing bonuses into a journey, which maintains player motivation and interest over time - something traditional slot features cannot always achieve. Furthermore, this feature, a super-feature, if you will, can work very well with a wide variety of features and mechanics, adding this way of depth and diversity to games with Connect&Collect™.

Question: Can you elaborate on how the Connect & Collect™ feature integrates with other game mechanics like added wilds, respins, or multipliers?

Answer: Connect & Collect™ is designed as a flexible umbrella feature that is not set in stone but can be adapted to work seamlessly with many other slot features within the same game. Depending on the specific game design, it may integrate added wilds, respins, multipliers, reel mirroring, free games, and other mechanics. These elements are skillfully combined to amplify the excitement and depth of gameplay. The adaptability of the feature ensures that each game in the Connect & Collect™ series offers a unique mix of supporting mechanics, resulting in diverse experiences while maintaining the core thrill of connecting symbols toward meaningful rewards.

What’s more, its flexibility allows us to craft customized versions of games with Connect & Collect™ feature setups that suit player preferences in specific markets. This is an opportunity for online casino operators as well, as we can create bespoke Connect & Collect™ games for them if they wish to please their players with a certain combination of features and mechanics.

Question: Are there any trends in game design, player behavior, or technology that you think will seriously shake up the industry in the next year or two?

Answer: Well, gamification is a current trend that is radically impacting game design at the moment, and it's something we’ve embraced and are continuing to embrace not only at Bragg but also at a wider industry level. I predict this is going to continue. In terms of player behaviour, I think changes in player demographics will undoubtedly shake up the industry, as more and more smartphone-savvy players come into the market. We’re responding to the need to understand player preferences through our player engagement toolset Fuze™, and the data we collect. Having said that, there will also be new player data metrics that will come into focus in the future as new preferences and tastes come to the fore. In terms of tech, the biggest thing that will impact the industry over the next few years is AI technology, which has far-reaching implications and is only just being tapped into. At Bragg, we’re getting ahead of the game by introducing things like our AI-powered games recommendation system to our Fuze™ toolset, and we’re not stopping there.

Question: What is your opinion on AI-driven tools in online casino gambling?

Answer: Any tool that delivers a fantastic and safe experience for players is a good thing, and AI has a part to play in creating those journeys. The challenge for the iGaming industry is assessing where AI can be a benefit and where it is unnecessary. We’ve been making those assessments throughout the business, and as I’ve mentioned, we’re using AI to drive personalized game recommendations to players, and we’re integrating AI technology into our responsible gambling practices, and increasingly into what we’re doing with content as well.

It’s still in its early days, but I think AI can be a real game changer for the industry and for Bragg, too.

Question: Finally, can you give us a sneak peek at any upcoming releases you’re especially excited about?

Puff Puff Puffer Slot
Mighty Mountain Slot

Answer: With pleasure! Right now, we’re pretty much into triple pots games, and two of our in-house studios are releasing their own takes on this currently popular feature. Our master slot crafters at Atomic Slot Lab are presenting Puff Puff Puffer, an adorable underwater escapade with cute and cuddly pufferfish that can generously inflate feature payouts. Its main triple feature brings extra free games, position multipliers, and reel expansion that can increase the number of winways to up to 7776. Indigo Magic, on the other hand, is delivering a fun tale of heroism with Mighty Mountain: a story of three brave maidens who set out to save their tropical village from a rumbling volcano about to erupt. The game’s main feature is sure to delight with extra free games, boosted cash values, and another 5x3 grid to play on with a chance to win not one but two grand jackpots. Both offer buy bonus options that provide instant excitement and allow for a great kickstart to any game session. These two titles are perfectly poised to become hot summer sensations, and we’re looking forward to seeing them succeed big time.
