CasinosHunter again speaks with Bryan Upton, founder of Lucksome, this time about the new Treasures of the Dead HyperLines slot recently released by the studio. This slot has an outstanding mechanic and Lucksome expects it to become a real hit at online casinos. Find out more about the game below.
Treasures of the Dead HyperLines Overview

Treasures of the Dead HyperLines is a video slot with the HyperLines mechanic, obviously. Why this mechanic is so cool? Because, as Bryan explained, the HyperLines stay active until they trigger a win, and until that, they keep escalating the potential win.
In addition to the HyperLines mechanic, the Treasures of the Dead slot has a Bonus Buy feature. Therefore, every player can trigger a bonus feature anytime they want to, without waiting for the right combination of symbols to land on reels.
The medium-high volatility level and the RTP rate of 96.2% make this new slot game a potentially well-paying one even if any of the bonus features is triggered. The slot supports 20+ languages and numerous currencies.

Q&A With Bryan Upton, Founder of Lucksome

So, the game is only to be released in March and there are already so many reviews of it! It seems to be a hit already. Have you predicted such popularity right away?
You never really know, but the response has been great so far on the operators we’ve released with.
We love the HyperLines mechanic; it’s wonderful to play it on a classic base game mechanic - it adds that extra level of excitement while you’re watching for those books!
How long did it take the team to make the game?
Somewhere around 4 months I would say.
The Egyptian theme seems to be immortal and eternally popular. Why do you think this happens? What’s so unique in Egyptian-themes slots?
I don’t think it’s unique to Egyptian themes; I think it’s about going somewhere mysterious and exotic while you’re playing.
Slots with some history and depth are obviously popular and that comes so easily from ancient cultures.
The slot is literally stuffed with in-game features that potentially trigger bigger wins. In your opinion, what feature players will love most of all?
It has to be the HyperLines! They stay active until they pay, until then they just escalate with those scarabs from our powerful books. In Free Games they are great because they pay on top of the expanding symbol pays as well – it’s so exciting!
Treasures of the Dead HyperLines has a Bonus Buy feature. Do you think Bonus Buy as a trend will continue to expand?
Absolutely - it allows game designers to show exciting parts of the game straight away and for players to see them.
It’s fun to design Bonus Buy math to make the best experiences in the bonuses for our players.
