Could you tell us more about your upcoming release Shinobi Moon?
Shinobi Moon is a 5x3 reeled slot set in feudal Japan with a particular focus on base game and bonus mechanics wrapped up with stunning art direction. The title is home to an array of symbols in keeping the slot's overall theme such as sai, ninjas, and shuriken which must form matching combinations across the game's 50 paylines to award a win.
These are joined by wilds which substitute for any base game symbol making it easier for players to create a winning combination.
These wilds also hold the key to unlocking the New Moon respin feature if landed on reels two to five. Here, three respins are granted where all wilds landed so far are held in place and more wilds can be landed and also held. If these fall into the position of an existing wild, its multiplier is increased which creates a multitude of wild multiplier wins!
Of course, with so much wild action taking place the base game holds a lot of big win potential and we look forward to seeing players engage with the slot when it releases on the 3rd of August.
What should players be expecting in the free spins round of Shinobi Moon?
There are up to 15 free spins to be won in the bonus, where the new moon feature is further expanded upon. In the free spins round, any wilds landed are similarly held in position, but any wins formed are paid at the end of each spin as opposed to at the end of the respin round.
With more opportunity to add even more wilds to the gameboard, each individual multiplier can grow up to 3x in size and it is here where the stealthiest of players can be awarded the max win of 4,500x!

Upgrading our art style to provide a fully realized world for players to engage with has been a key focus for us throughout our recent releases with Shinobi Moon being a great example of this.
Demonstrating our focus on visuals is the slots background which isn’t just a static image, it is animated to display tranquil waterfalls, clouds passing in the background and ninjas scaling the pagodas.
Similarly, wilds display leaping ninjas and all winning symbols are animated to clearly depict that they are a part of a win line. The slot as a whole has been lovingly crafted and we are thoroughly enjoying developing titles with distinct visuals and art styles.
Your previous release Catch 22 was one of your biggest launches to date and has received both critical and commercial acclaim. Why do you think so many players gravitated toward this slot?
Catch 22 truly transformed what players had come to expect from a traditional fishing slot. We developed the game with innovation being at its heart and while initially appearing to align with other fishing games we broke with convention to provide players with an infinite respin feature and the titular Catch 22 mechanic.
This is awarded for landing two fisherman symbols which typically would collect any fish symbols however in our interpretation, this transformed all non-fisherman symbols into instant prize-awarding fish that are then collected twice, once by each fisherman. Players were of course drawn to these inventive mechanics that whilst offering familiar aesthetics provided revolutionary gameplay.
