Connor Blinman, Head of Games at Gaming Corps, has agreed to tell CasinosHunter more about the studio’s journey, best games, signature features, and plans for the future. If you are interested not only in slot games but in other online casino game types, learning more about Gaming Corps and its games is probably what you need.
About Gaming Corps

Gaming Corps was founded back in 2014, already in 2015 it was listed as a public company, and in 2019, it was basically reinvented into what we know now - a strong competitor in the industry. In 2020, Gaming Corps received a license for games development and distribution from the MGA, one of the most reliable agencies in the niche.
The studio is focused on creating non-mainstream content of video games and games for online casinos, and having a portfolio that is more diverse than most newer companies have.
So, instead of stamping slot games, Gaming Corps took a unique approach to making online casino slots, multiplier games, mini mobile games, table games, and arcade games, and moreover, you will find some unique features in these products. The company already has 35+ games in its collection and releases at least 1 new game per month.
Another direction of the company’s focus is bespoke and branded games and their number grows as Gaming Corps increase its network of reliable partners, such as FirstLook Games and Vera & John. Today, Gaming Corps is headquartered in Uppsala, Sweden, and its development studios are located in Smart City, Malta, and Kyiv, Ukraine.

Q&A Session With Connor Blinman, Head of Games

Hello and thank you for participating in our Q&A! Gaming Corps already has an interesting history that’s described on the site. How would you evaluate the company’s success achieved by now?
The journey that Gaming Corps has been on to get to where we are today has been nothing short of incredible.
We’re currently seeing great success across multiple markets over multiple genres of casino products.
We have a strong foothold in certain markets with our arcade content, with Mines, Crash, and Plinko products all being extremely successful for us.
In the last year, we have revamped our strategy for Slot products and are starting to see great success there.
There are many competitors in the industry; what are the Gaming Corps’ main advantages that make the company stand out?
Our main advantages come in three forms. Firstly, we are a small team, dynamic but with plenty of experience. Because of our size, we’re able to adapt to the ever-changing market on a daily basis. Secondly, we have a very diverse portfolio of products, from arcade games (Plinko, Mines and Crash) to slots and table games, which allows us to become a provider that offers a one-stop shop for all things casino to our clients. Thirdly, we offer great branded content. Our strongest games can be branded in a way that allows our partners to apply their brand colours and logos to show off their brands and increase player engagement.
How many games exactly are in the studio’s portfolio right now? How many new games are released per month or per year?
We have over 35 games in our portfolio right now, across multiple genres. We aim to release one slot game per month, on top of releasing arcade content as often as we see fit, depending on market conditions.
Gaming Corps makes different games - slots, multiplier games, and mini mobile games. We totally loved the mini games! Can you please tell us more about these games, are they popular?
We do make different games! Our product diversity is one of our best USPs. The arcade games are very popular, they’re easy to pick up and play without too much commitment, they have a small file size and load quickly on all devices and internet speeds so they are great to play on the go. We are seeing great player retention on these products.
What are three the most popular games by Gaming Corps, as of now? In your opinion, what is so special about them?
Our most popular games are Coin Miner 1 and 2, Plinko, and Paddy’s Payouts. They each have something very special about them.

Coin Miner is an incredibly simplistic “crypto” style Mine game. It is quick and easy to play and has a loyal player base. It was one of the first Mine games for regulated markets, so for a lot of players it was their first Mine game experience. We followed it up last May with Coin Miner 2, taking this simplistic game and adding a twist with more updated graphics and animations. So far it has been growing in popularity month-to-month.

Plinko is another product of ours that does very well. It’s a game with which you can really switch off and relax as you get immersed in the soundscape and animations of this simple arcade product.

Paddy’s Payouts was our most recent slot game release and the players have been really fond of it so far, making it one of the most successful slot releases for us so far. The game has a great traditional feel but with modern graphics and animations. The math is incredibly well-balanced among the two different bonus features and players are going to have a good time playing this slot for sure.
Are there any signature features or mechanics that make games by Gaming Corps instantly recognizable?
As players who know us will recognize, we have released signature features in both Jet Lucky 2 and also Coin Miner 2, with both games having a simple twist on a new format.
Jet Lucky 2 has “boss battles”, making it a Crash game with a difference. Coin Miner 2 is a Mines game with an innovation that sees the player unlock the “Star” that immediately unlocks more winning tiles.
As we evolve and grow you can be sure that we are looking to add our own signatures onto slot titles and other arcade products in the future.
Let’s talk about the new game called Wild Woof. It has an unusual reels & rows scheme, high volatility, and 576 betways. Please tell us more about other features in this slot!
We really want Wild Woof to stand out, and the unconventional reel layout will immediately show this to the player.

The game's features are incredibly exciting. The aim of the main game is to trigger the “Most Wanted” feature where players will see one random High-Paying symbol selected at random, becoming the Most Wanted symbol for that spin. The player will then land at least one Stacked Wild symbol. For each High-Paying symbol that lands, a Multiplier will be added that applies to any wins that occur on this spin.
Trigger the Progressive Free Spins via three Scatter symbols, where you are awarded seven Free Spins. The Most Wanted feature is active on each spin. The Free Spins are progressive in the sense that each Scatter that lands on the reels will be collected, and every third Scatter will unlock an additional Most Wanted symbol. Collect 12 Scatters to reach the Super Free Spins.
Or, trigger the Super Free Spins from the Main Game via two Scatters and one Super Scatter. Within the Super Free Spins, all High-Paying symbols are Most Wanted from the start and the Multiplier that is accumulated via the Most Wanted feature is sticky! This can lead to some huge big wins within this Bonus. Be warned, the volatility is definitely our highest yet.
The Wild West theme is still very popular among online casino gamers, isn’t it? In your opinion, what players will love most in Wild Woof?
Definitely! Wild West themes are iconic for casino players. We wanted to approach this theme with care, but we wanted to put a twist on it.
This is why we blended the Wild West with Cats and Dogs. The Sheriff is our dog character known as Woof Garrett, and the Bad Guys are known as the Feline Four who are our cat characters. This makes for a unique approach with what feels like a great crossover between the classic Wild West, with the dynamic of the traditional dog chasing down the cats.
What cool collaborations and partnerships have you got with other stakeholders in the industry?
Bespoke and branded are two things that we pride ourselves on and you will see our branded content across many operators in the industry.
We also have a number of bespoke games such as Delicious with ATG and Ramen Puzzle with Vera & John. We’ve worked closely with these market leading partners to build market-specific content.
We have a number of other projects in the works with other big industry names and are very excited for when they go live. We’ll continue to look to partner with other industry stakeholders in the future.
In your opinion, what are the current trends in the iGaming and Gaming industries that are likely to stay? Have you been noticing any interesting changes in the industry and its trends in recent years? Because a lot has been happening in the industry.
The industry is dynamic and exciting and we work hard to make we’re also dynamic and able to pave the way with the trends.
The current trends in the industry are leaning towards these new game genres and trying to be first to market with something fresh. New, younger players are joining this industry all the time and these players are not traditionally slot players - so this will definitely stick around.
That isn’t to say that slots will go away, the player base for this genre gets bigger and bigger all the time. We’ve had a trend in recent years towards higher and higher volatility games with larger and larger win caps. We have recently done one ourselves with Wild Woof - it’s the key to our diverse portfolio. But I do believe we will start to see games trend towards more of a middle ground that balances long playtime with high potential.
Can you tell us more about the upcoming games by Gaming Corps?
We’re releasing two games in August. One is called “Plinkgoal”, which has great cross-sell potential with sportsbook players. The game is a classic Plinko product themed in a football style. The Plinko balls are footballs and the buckets they fall into are goals.
We’re also releasing a slot called “Prospector’s Plinko”. This is a super exciting blend of a slot game with a Plinko Bonus round. The game features a Prospector who is on the hunt for his next big win underground in a cave full of gold.
The Plinko bonus round will see players dropping Golden nuggets into Minecarts, each associated with a prize. There’s also the chance of landing the nuggets in special Collect Minecarts, to reach thresholds that upgrade potential winnings up to 1000x per Golden Nugget. We have lots of exciting games on the horizon that we are excited to share with you and your readers!
