Q: Hello and thank you for finding time to tell us more about BlueOcean Gaming! So, the company has over 10 years of experience in the industry and the main task is to assist in seamless integration of casino games for online casinos, and services that go along with it, right? Does BlueOcean make any own games, by chance?

Yes, exactly! Our main solution is GameHub, which is an online casino aggregation solution that is integrated via API. It is designed for existing operators of online casinos to boost their business by gaining access to more than 120 online casino software studios. This means they can get around 10,000 online casino games, live games, virtual sports, trending crash and fast games, and sportsbook as well.

In addition, our GameHub offers a nice set of tools both functional and promotional, which help operators get the most out of our solution. These include FreeSpin and GameHistory API, an Automated game catalogue, Feature Triggering, Leaderboards, and more.

Regarding making our own games, no, we don't develop any games on our own. Instead, we distribute the games from game providers with whom we have established partnerships. This allows us to provide a wide range of high-quality games from a variety of providers to our clients.

Q: Could you share some of the difficulties that the company had on its path as it developed and grew?

We have encountered various challenges along our path of development and growth but one of the difficulties we faced and are still facing is navigating the evolving landscape of online gambling regulations and requirements imposed by different countries.

Nowadays an increasing number of countries have chosen to restrict online gambling and introduce specific licensing requirements.

This poses a challenge for us as we strive to comply with these regulations while expanding our services to new markets. The process of obtaining and maintaining licenses can be complex and time-consuming, requiring careful consideration of each jurisdiction's requirements.

Q: Has the online gambling industry changed a lot since the company entered the market years ago? In your opinion, what are the most important changes?

Yes, the online gambling industry has undergone significant changes since our entry into the market years ago.

One of the most important changes is the rapid advancement of online technologies, which has led to a greater demand for faster and more efficient online services.

Additionally, the COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated the shift from land-based casinos to online platforms, both for operators and players. Furthermore, as mentioned above, the industry has witnessed a surge in regulations from countries, imposing stricter requirements on online casinos. These changes have shaped the landscape of the industry, driving innovation and the need for adaptability.

Q: What would you consider the major technological innovation in online gambling?

There have been several major technological innovations in online gambling since BlueOcean Gaming was established. One significant advancement is the shift from desktop to mobile devices, as more users now navigate gambling sites on their mobile phones and tablets. The emergence of augmented reality and virtual reality products has also made an impact, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic, with increased demand for esports experiences. Additionally, the growing buzz around artificial intelligence indicates promising possibilities for the iGaming industry.

Q: BlueOcean Gaming has over 10,000 games to offer by over 100 providers. Can you tell right away whether a slot game is going to be a hit or not?

It is difficult to tell for us, we know for example which game providers are trending and very popular at the moment but for games itself is hard to predict. Maybe games with certain mechanics which are poplar have better chances but again it is hard to tell what is the winning combination to deliver a hit game.

Q: What licenses do you offer to your customers together with casino games?

At the moment we are only operating with Curacao Gaming license. We also offer this license to our White Label clients.

Q: In your opinion, what online casino games are the most popular with players? Are there any specific features or technologies that players like more than others?

In our experience, there are several online casino games that are popular among players. The Megaways mechanics, known for their innovative gameplay and dynamic payline structures, have revolutionized the industry and gained widespread acceptance among players.

Then in recent years, crash games have created a revolution in terms of game types and are performing exceptionally well among players and are as we speak still very requested by operators and players. Q: Are any interesting events or collaborations coming the company’s way in the nearest future you could tell us about?

We have some exciting events and collaborations on the horizon. We will soon be ready to announce our partnerships with Vibra Gaming and AvatarUX, adding their thrilling games to our GameHub content portfolio. In terms of events, we will be present at several major expos. Our next stop is SiGMA Americas in Brazil, followed by appearances at SiGMA Cyprus, SBC Barcelona, and SiGMA Malta.
